IMyFone Fixppo did not manage to do anything for me other than waste hours of my time. I ended up having to just iTunes to reset my phone to factory settings and get it booting again. Eventually I resorted to trying to use the "advanced" mode which would also wipe the data on my phone. The iMyFone Fixppo failed 5 times to update my iPhone (ie. I had already tried to use iTunes to repair the phone in place (keep my data) rather than reset (lose my data) and it had failed. I downloaded the iMyFone Fixppo software on 2nd May to fix my iPhone XS that was stuck booting at the Apple Logo. This company are a scam who have done a good job of looking legitimate. At the very least they would have offered some explanation to PayPal, right? But this isn't the case, despite them being very chatty with me over email. Despite Paypal having contacted them over 13 days ago, they are yet to hear from them. If they truly had the trust of 'millions of customers', one would think they would have enough money to refund me a paltry sum of money for a legitimate problem, and save their reputation, right? DO NOT LISTEN to these statements this is how they get you. Now that they see I am not going to close the case, I get emails much more frequently, with promises such as "we will definitely refund you the money once you close the case" and "we are trusted by millions of customers". Any legitimate business would simply hit the 'refund' button on PayPal and return the money, at which point I would happily close the case before PayPal had to intervene. I wrote to them a few more times, and finally escalated the case with PayPal. at which point support vanished for 1 week. Which is pointless, because their software didn't fix anything. They asked me to share the log file for their technicians, and wrote back saying my iPad needed to be taken to the store to get fixed, and that they were willing to return 50% of my money. Immediately, I got an email from them, with apologies for taking so long etc. I received no reply for over a week, at which point I raised a case in PayPal. The software didn't work, so I wrote them an email with documentation outlining what had happened. I purchased this software near the start of April, for use on my iPad that was stuck in bootloop. I hope you used PayPal, otherwise you're screwed. Its to late for me and I hope this review saves somebody else.Ģ1st Century Fraudsters.
